How to use the Urdu Post Maker

  1. Type your Urdu text, or type Roman Urdu and tap Convert. Put the second line of a sher on its own line.
  2. Pick a font, a background (gradient or your own photo) and a size such as 1:1, 4:5 or 9:16.
  3. Download a PNG, record a short video, or paste many lines in Bulk mode to get a ZIP of images plus a captions file.

About the Urdu Post Maker

Urdu Post Maker turns a sher, a quote or any Urdu line into a clean image for Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp Status or a YouTube thumbnail. Type in Urdu, or type Roman Urdu the way you text on WhatsApp and convert it with one tap. Pick a Nastaliq or Naskh font, a gradient or your own photo, and download a sharp PNG.

Page admins who post daily can use Bulk mode: paste many lines, and the tool makes one image per line (or per couplet) and gives you a ZIP with every image plus a captions.csv file you can use for scheduling. You can also record a short 6-second video with a slow zoom, with music from your own phone if you like. Everything is made inside your browser, so your photos are never uploaded. A small alcashlabs.com mark is on by default and you can switch it off.

Fonts included: Noto Nastaliq Urdu, Gulzar, Noto Naskh Arabic, Mirza and Lateef. All are released under the SIL Open Font License, so the images you make are yours to post and share.

Urdu Post Maker: FAQs

Is the Urdu Post Maker free? Is there a watermark?

It is free. The only mark is a small "alcashlabs.com" in the corner, and you can turn it off with one checkbox.

How do I write a two-line sher?

Put each misra on its own line. Choose the Couplet layout and both lines are centred, with the poet name underneath.

Can I type in Roman Urdu?

Yes. Type in the Roman Urdu box (for example "dil se dil tak") and tap Convert to Urdu. Check the result before posting; you can edit any word in the Urdu box.

Which size should I use?

1:1 or 4:5 for Facebook and Instagram feed posts, 9:16 for WhatsApp Status, Stories and Reels, 16:9 for YouTube, and the cover size for a Facebook Page cover.

How does Bulk mode work?

Paste one post per line, or leave an empty line between posts when a post has two lines. Every post gets the same style. You download a ZIP of PNG images and a captions.csv file.

Can I use famous poetry?

Classical poets such as Ghalib and Iqbal are long out of copyright. For modern poets and lyrics, credit the poet and avoid using their work commercially without permission.
