About the Instagram Grid Splitter
Split one photo into a 3×1, 3×2 or 3×3 Instagram grid, or into a 2 to 10 slide panorama carousel that swipes like one wide picture. Choose square, 4:5 portrait or the newer 3:4 profile grid shape, and download every tile in one ZIP.
Each tile is numbered in the order you should post it. For grids, post number 1 first and the highest number last, so the picture lines up on your profile. Your photo is cut inside your browser and never uploaded.
Instagram Grid Splitter: FAQs
In what order do I post grid tiles?
Start with tile 1 (bottom-right of the picture) and finish with the highest number (top-left). Newer posts appear first on your profile, which puts the image together.
How do I make a panorama carousel?
Choose Panorama, pick the number of slides, download, then upload all slides in one carousel post in order.
Which tile shape should I pick?
Instagram profile grids now show 3:4 rectangles. Use 3:4 if the profile look matters most, or 1:1 / 4:5 for the feed.
Will the quality drop?
Tiles are 1080 pixels wide. Use PNG if you want no extra compression; JPG files are smaller.
