Online Notepad — FAQs
Does the notepad auto-save my notes?
Yes. Everything you type is saved automatically to your browser storage with every keystroke, and restored the next time you open the page.
Where are my notes stored?
Locally in your own browser — your notes are never sent to any server, so they stay private to your device.
Can I download my notes?
Yes. One click downloads your current note as a plain .txt file you can open anywhere.
Does it work offline?
Once the page has loaded, the editor keeps working without an internet connection, and your auto-saved notes remain available.
