About the YouTube Tag Generator
Enter the main keyword of your video and get YouTube tag ideas from two real sources: YouTube's own search suggestions (what people type), and the tags used by the top videos YouTube returns for that keyword, read through the official YouTube Data API. Tags that show up in both places rank highest.
Tap tags to remove the ones that do not fit, keep an eye on the 500-character counter (YouTube counts quotes around tags with spaces), and copy them in one go. No AI writes these tags; they come from YouTube itself. Results are cached for a day so the tool stays fast and free.
YouTube Tag Generator: FAQs
Do tags still matter on YouTube?
A little. YouTube says tags mainly help with misspellings. Your title, thumbnail and description matter more, so use a handful of accurate tags rather than stuffing all 500 characters.
Where do these tags come from?
From YouTube search suggestions for your keyword and from the tags that top-ranking videos for that keyword have set, read through the YouTube Data API v3.
What is the 500 character limit?
YouTube allows up to 500 characters of tags in total. Tags with spaces count two extra characters for quotes. The counter does this math for you.
Can I generate Urdu or Hindi tags?
Yes. Type the keyword in the language your viewers search in, for example "urdu shayari" or "aloo gosht recipe".
